Skiing in Kronplatz
Acclaimed as South Tirol’s No. 1 ski mountain and a guarantee of a perfect skiing holiday – the Kronplatz in Pustertal. State-of-the art cable cars and lifts, snow machines and a wide variety of pistes impress winter sports’ fan.
The Kronplatz offers over 110 Kilometres of well prepared pistes for pure Alpine skiing enjoyment. These range from 953 to 2275 metres above sea level and not only due to the instalment of 200 snow cannons, make the region absolutely certain of snow from the beginning of December to the beginning of April.
Furthermore all ski pass holders in Kronplatz have access to the Dolomite Super ski Region, the famous Sella Ronda included. Skiing, carving, boarding – rounded off to perfection with the time-honoured après-ski in a friendly ski cabin!

Guests of the Almhotel Lenz can leave their car behind: Our hotel is only 300 meters from the ski slope, and our hotel shuttle will take you directly to the slope entrance (not the valley station). Please note that this access point is not suitable for beginner skiers.
Hotel Skipass Service
In order to make the purchase your ski pass easier and more convenient, a modern ski pass service is available. The ski pass you require can be purchased online with a credit card at no additional cost. After payment the Hotel will receive notification and your ski pass will be collected and waiting for you in your hotel room when you arrive.
Other Services
There are a number of ski schools for beginners to choose from- whether with a private instructor or in a group you will soon master the basics. Ski-hire stations in the valleys of Olang and Reischach are excellent centres for renting all the necessary equipment. Top of the range skis, boards, boots and helmets are available for hire from these professionals.
