There is a lot to be seen around the Almhotel Lenz. Whether in summer or winter the holiday resort Kronplatz shows itself throughout the year from it's best side. At the same time the surroundings of our hotel unveils itself as a manifold Adventure Region for young and old: picturesque villages, fascinating places of interest and museums, as well as exceptional sport and leisure activities for every taste and standard.
Sliding down the slope in winter which directly adjoins the Hotel calls out for a fun and games. There is no better way to enjoy winter than by sliding down the slope by the seat of your pants. Building snowmen or making tracks in the snow around the Hotel is pure fun for children and is all for free. In summer the shady terrace invites adults to relax but at the same time watch over their children while they play by the pond and Mr & Mrs Mutschlechner's son has built raft they have fun with.
For all who want to go up and above. High Wire – that means climbing over wires and beams, over obstructions and bridges, slides and traverses. The route lead you through the treetops and requires dexterity and daring. Enthusiastic climbing fans rise to dizzy heights and test their limits.
Up the mountain in the cable car at a leisurely pace and then down hill cycling along the new trails in Kronplatz. Extreme bikers let it rip. Those who prefer a more sedate pace can hire an E-bike at one of the local bike rentals and can with help of a motor try out one of the slightly steeper trails. In our new children's zoo native species of domesticated animals have been given a caring home. This summer our guests can meet wooly sheep, cuddly rabbits and ponys. Amidst the wild nature in the South Tyrolean Dolomites this colourful and mixed menagerie touches the hearts of children and adults alike. Feeding and stroking is permitted. Love of these animals at first sight is not to be ruled out.
Mountaineering and mountain biking trips, a super children's programme and varied excursions for the whole family. The tourist board Kronplatz offers a wide ranging holiday package “Kron Active” during the warmer months, which is organized together with the Outdoor Center Kronplatz and the Tourist Board Bruneck.
The open-air pool in Niederolang is heated to a minimum of 25°C and provides a welcome cool down with swimming, splashing about, beach volleyball, table tennis and football.
